Horse Wagering – Across the Board

  1. Betting a Horse Across the Board

When you are choosing a horse wagering across the board, you are making three separate bets that it will Win, Place or Show. You may make your wager on a single ticket, or on three separate tickets.

If you decide to wager on the single ticket, however, you are, in effect, making three separate bets at the same time, so the total amount of your horse wagering will be three times a single such wager.

If your selection wins, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the words, Win-Place-Show, as shown on the racetrack board. The amount won will depend on the odds shown on the board, following the race.
